Fine Points: Celebrating our 40th Year!

Celebrating our 40th year! We began in Liz’s basement and out grew space after space until Fine Points landed in its present home on Larchmere Boulevard. 

Why should you visit Fine Points?  What we offer is a diverse assortment of yarns and patterns -- and we’re chock-full of ideas for you to fashion a project you’ll love.  In addition to staying on top of current trends, we’ve curated a collection of vintage yarns, perfect to enhance your handwork.  We’ve consigned with a local dyer of linen in vibrant hues which is sure to delight any fiber artist.  Because many of our staff have art backgrounds we come to crafting from a different vista. 

Our button collection surpasses many.  As our buttons were featured on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert, we’ve expanded our collection.  In addition, we have loads of knit and crochet samples for you to consider.  Many are Fine Points originals.

In tandem with our yarn store is our boutique, featuring flattering, comfortable clothing and statement jewelry for all ages and sizes… After all, knitters and crocheters do like to look great!
